As we grow and develop, we are now seeking a highly motivated and organized Fleet Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Allocating and managing staff resources according to site needs and shifting operations.
• Monitoring the progress of logistics in hand as well as assist in the day-to-day operations related to all activities quarry related.
• Scheduling and tracking inbound and outgoing movements.
• Ensuring materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per clients’ criteria.
• Carrying out all vehicle fleet coordination whilst also liaising with the Maintenance manager with regards to any servicing and/or maintenance required.
• Ensuing daily records detailing progress, daily work registers and any other reports are being compiled.
• Assisting in the collecting and transferring of all paperwork/chits/receipts etc.
Professional and/or Experiential Requirements:
• Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing in Maltese and English, in order to be able to report adequately to superiors and to form good relations. Conversant in the Italian language is considered to be an asset.
• Ability to effectively lead a team, including the ability to respond to the needs of team members and provide them with assistance when and as required.
• A relevant educational qualification as well as proven experience managing a team within a similar role and industry will be considered an asset.
• Previous experience within a similar role is required.
• To be able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with third parties.
• To have a flexible approach to work commitments at all times.
• Will be required to interact with company personnel at all levels.
• A driving licence (Lic B).
